2. Information Collection & Usage
Because all processing takes place locally in client memory:
- We do not collect, view, store, or log your uploaded photos or image metadata.
- We do not collect personal identifying information (PII) or user accounts.
- We do not track your location coordinates extracted from photo EXIF tags.
3. Local Storage
We use localStorage solely to persist your UI preference for Dark Mode / Light Mode styling across browser sessions. No tracking cookies or advertising IDs are placed on your device.
4. Offline Functionality
You can test and verify our privacy commitment at any time by loading metadataremover.tech, disconnecting your device's Wi-Fi or internet connection, and processing files offline. The application will continue to parse and strip metadata seamlessly.
